Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer folding and tilting hitch mounted cargo carrier and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. Now, a hitch mounted carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you, whether you've got that third row of seats up and not enough room for luggage on a road trip, or maybe you're just going to the hardware store and picking up bags of mulch, concrete, dirt, things that tend to get ripped messy. You can keep that outside and not bring the mess inside your vehicle to begin with. It's a lot easier to just hose this down than it is to vacuum out the carpet on the interior. But this one in particular is going to be quite large, 24 inches deep and 60 inches wide of actual usable space and be able to carry up to 500 pounds. It's got a 500 pound weight capacity and steel construction, so plenty strong. And the biggest thing to watch out for is the dimensions. Now the cargo carrier is gonna be a great way to carry extra stuff with you, especially in our Traverse, if you've got that third row seats up, cargo space is limited. So if you're going on a trip with some people, you gotta put the stuff somewhere. And for me, the hitch is one of the best places you can put it because you've got a good weight capacity and a good amount of space. So a quick overview of the Inno Quick Base System is that it's a modular system where you can either have the Quick Base on your hitch or on your roof and then you can mix and match different cargo accessories. Where it really shines is how fast it is to attach and take off those accessories. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Reese cargo carrier basket, which is 24 by 60 inches large, and we'll see how it fits on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So major things about the Reese Cargo carrier with this truck is that if you have a two and a half inch hitch like what we have here, you are gonna need a separate hitch reducer in order to fit the two inch shank of our cargo carrier. And if you're looking for a cargo carrier where you can still lower your tailgates and have a platform that is easier to reach compared to your truck bed, then this might be a good option for you. So maybe you're going hunting, you need to load stuff onto the basket. We're gonna have a difference in height as well as clearance. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we have the Flint Hill Goods compact steel cargo carrier and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on a 2020 Jayco Redhawk motor home. If you are looking for a way to expand your cargo capacity on your motor home, then a hitch cargo carrier is actually a very popular option, because if your items are maybe larger, bulkier, heavier, it would be easier to put it here on the back than it is to find a spot for it on the inside. Now, if you are looking for a cargo carrier though, something to be mindful of with your motor home is that your cargo carrier is gonna be sitting further out back compared to if it was on a car. So I do ask you to be really careful about making sure everything is evenly distributed and that you have enough weight capacity. And if you notice there's a bit of movement, to reinforce your carrier. There's also the RV bumper carrier that is available as an option for your Redhawk, if you notice you have this nice bumper, and that will be a bit more reinforced and give you more stability. more

We're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2020 Jayco Redhawk motor home. So for this motor home, hitch cargo carriers are pretty popular because you don't have that much cargo space on the interior. And if you need a carrier on something that might be bulky or heavy or like maybe messy, having it on the outside might be more ideal for you. Now if you are gonna be using a cargo carrier with your motor home though, there are some things to be mindful of. One is that for your hitch receiver, it is gonna sit further out on the back of your motor home to have a hitch cargo carrier versus if this was on your car. more

Now it's gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds so if we put some weight down on it like this our vehicle's only gonna drop down just a little bit, and I'm a larger guy, about 245 pounds, so it's gonna do pretty well in that respect. As for the construction, we're gonna have this aluminum construction and we're gonna have these thicker rails at the bottom and we're gonna have a few mounting points. more

Now, I was gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds, so with me getting on in it, I'm about 245 pounds so roughly about half the weight of it and it barely kind of goes down just by a smidge. So I think the expedition's gonna work with this very nicely. more

Now, we're going to have the ability to haul up to 500 pounds, so you're gonna be able to put a decent amount in it. Yeah. Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods Compact Cargo Carrier here on the back of our 2019 Jayco Redhawk motorhome. So the owners of the Redhawk motorhome are actually very interested in cargo carriers, because there isn't that much space inside the motorhome or in the basement. So something to be mindful of is that if you want to expand your cargo capacity, maybe you're coming back from a trip, you have muddy, sandy items, and you don't wanna have to cram them into your motorhome, getting a hitch-mounted cargo carrier might be an option for you. Now, this specific one though is gonna be a compact, so it doesn't have as much surface area, but it technically has the same amount of weight capacity as other cargo carriers. more

If you're looking for a cargo carrying solution, maybe you're going for a trip and you wanna carry things not inside your car where it'll get messy, but outside where you might have an easier way of accessing it, plus if it's muddy, dirty, or sandy, it can all just fall out of the cargo carrier, then this might be a good option for you. With the inch and quarter hitch receiver, it is going to have a 300 pound distributed weight capacity. So that is something to keep in mind because that is gonna be different from the two inch hitch receiver capacity. The EXO system is interesting. It's a modular system where you can mix and match different accessories. You have these knobs right over here, you have this really cool cleat system, and that way if you wanted to switch something out for, let's say, a bike rack or a ski and snowboard carrier, it's simply a matter of lifting this up, out, and then putting your brand new accessory in and fitting that into place. Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods hitch-mounted cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now this is Flint Hill Goods' compact carrier, which really just means it's gonna be smaller than all of their other offerings. It's not so much smaller in the width, it's still pretty wide, but the depth is quite short. So what that means for your Enclave here is from the bumper to the furthest point out, we're only gonna be adding 23 inches. more
